• Order information (including guest checkout) — your name, delivery address, phone number, and email, so we can process and deliver your order.
• Payment confirmation details — for bKash payments, we collect the Transaction ID (TrxID) and the phone number used, only to confirm your payment.
• Communications — any information you share when you contact us for support, questions, returns, or feedback.
• Marketing preferences — your consent to receive our newsletter, SMS, WhatsApp, or other marketing messages.

b) Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect some technical information through cookies and similar technologies, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and how you use our site. This is described in Section 6 (Cookies & Tracking).

c) Information from third parties

If you choose to sign in using Google (Google Sign-In), we receive basic profile information from your Google account, such as your name and email address, to create or access your Tekflip account. This is described in Section 7 (Google Sign-In).

3. How We Use Your Information

• Process, confirm, and deliver your orders.
• Confirm your bKash payment using the Transaction ID and phone number.
• Create and manage your account.
• Send order updates and important service messages by SMS and email.
• Provide customer support and handle returns, refunds, and warranty claims.
• Send marketing messages (newsletter, SMS, WhatsApp, and other channels) when you have agreed to receive them.
• Improve our website, products, and shopping experience.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, and keep our website secure.
• Meet our legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

4. Payment Information

We currently handle bKash payments directly, and we accept Cash on Delivery (COD).

• For bKash, we only collect your Transaction ID (TrxID) and the phone number used, so we can verify your payment.
• We do not collect or store your bKash PIN, OTP, card numbers, or banking passwords.
• Never share your bKash PIN or OTP with anyone, including our team.

5. Marketing Communications

If you have given your consent, we may send you promotions, offers, and updates through email newsletters, SMS, WhatsApp, and other marketing channels. We use trusted service providers (such as Brevo) to send these messages.

You are always in control:

• You can unsubscribe at any time using the “unsubscribe” link in our emails, replying STOP to SMS/WhatsApp where available, or by contacting us directly.
• Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send you essential service messages (such as order confirmations, delivery updates, and refund notices), because these are needed to complete your order.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted parties who help us run our business, and only as needed:

• Delivery partners — Steadfast and Pathao Courier, to deliver your orders (name, address, phone number).
• Payment — bKash, to confirm your payment.
• Marketing & communication providers — such as Brevo, to send our emails and messages.
• Analytics & advertising providers — Google and Meta, as described in Section 6.
• Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.

Some of these providers may process data outside Bangladesh. When they do, your information is handled under their own privacy and security standards.

9. Data Retention

We keep your personal information as long as needed to:

• Process and support your orders,
• Handle warranty, returns, and refunds,
• Meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.

We may keep certain account and order data longer to give you a better and faster shopping experience in the future. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it safely.
